Finally Back!!! :)

Hi everyone!!! I have been missing in action for awhile but I am finally back! Lots has changed in my life since the last time I posted. First off  I'M PREGNANT! :) due April 7th. Complete surprise but we are so happy for this new journey we are on. We can not wait to meet our baby boy!! And since January I am now officially a married woman!! We have been together going on 7 years and I couldn't imagine ever spending my life with someone else, he's my rock, my everything and I'm so happy he chose me to grow old with. With all these new changes and experiences I'm going through it really drew me back to blogging. This blog will still be ALL THINGS BEAUTY but every now and then I will share  my new experiences as a Mama, to me it's going to be the most beautiful thing of all :). But I just wanted to catch y'all up on everything and can't wait to get back in the swing of things!    Xoxo!

Update: 30 day challenge!

Hi dolls! I know I was supposed to update at day 10 but with us in the process of moving it has been absolutely crazy!!! But I am down 8 POUNDS! I'm so happy! I have completely cut out soda and fast food! I don't even have the urge to have any of it. I feel so much better and I can feel my body changing and it's amazing! I'm still in the process of getting an exercise schedule down but hopefully after we move it will be easier. Here is an updated picture! Can't wait till the end to see all the changes!! =) Thank you all for so much support!! It really helps!

Biomega Detangling Brush

I know I havn't posted in about a week I believe, we are in the process of moving so I've been so busy! But I have been wanting to do a review of my new favorite brush, the biomega detangling brush! I absolutely love it! I have always had problems with tangled hair and especially anyone out there with little girls, you know it can be a struggle sometimes to brush their hair. When I was little I had long hair, I loved it, but I hated brushing it and I would ALWAYS get knots underneath near the back of my neck. I would hide them as much as I could until my mom noticed and they would be so bad she would have to cut them out lol. I got this brush free with a shampoo/conditoner package from Cosmoprof, I read all the "DETANGLES! NO PULLING" and of course did not believe one bit of it but it was free so of course I wanted to try it. I took a shower, put some of my kenra conditioning spray in and BOOM! that brush just glided through! No pulling, no struggle to brush through everthing, just went through my hair like it had nothing in its way! I highly recommend this brush for everyone, less damaging and less hairloss! So glad I got it! =)

 

I could only find it sold in the package with the shampoo/conditioner, which I got it discounted for around $11 but without the discount I believe its around $25.



30 day Challenge

I have always been up and down with my weight but I've got to the point where it's hard to come down, So I decided what better way to motivate me and keep me focused than to share. I know this isn't fully beauty related but self esteem and confidence makes you beautiful and it's been hiding for quite awhile now and it's time to bring it back out! In no means am I saying that being smaller gives you those characteristics but for me personally its something that I fight with on a daily basis. I've decided to start with a 30 day challenge! No not some shake diet, or no carb diet, or any other kind of dreadful diet the world is coming up with these days, this is my own personal 30 day challenge for me to change my lifestyle and get myself in a balanced routine. My main goal is to lose 35 pounds,I know I won't lose that all in my first 30 days but they say between 21-28 days things become habit, so my real goal is for this routine to stick with me for the long run! Every 10 days I will update and post a picture, seeing the changes will help with the motivation and knowing that there are people out there who are rooting for me will keep me pushing! Here is my starting picture ( it took everything I had to post this but I know the end result will make this humiliation worth it)

L'Oreal Magic Perfecting Base

Today I am going to review the L'Oreal magic perfecting base primer. I have never really used a primer before but I wanted to try one out to see what kind of difference it made. I had a coupon for this one, so that made it easier for me on which one to get lol. 

After using it for about a week, overall it's an amazing product for the price! It definitely minimizes my pores and smooths out any lines I have, I could tell around my eyes and in between my eyebrows on my forehead, but I also noticed around my nose it seemed to get oily quick. It has always been a problem spot for me but even L'Oreal couldn't contain it. The texture seemed a little thick when I first tried it but it goes on smooth and  light when you rub it in. As far as the packaging, the little jar is cute and small but it's difficult to put your fingers in especially if you have nails.I would definitely recommend this product to someone who is looking for a cheaper drugstore brand primer, it gets the job done and I don't think you'll be disappointed.
